Konu: Atatürk Mutfağı Haftası
M-239202451916-L numaralı mektupta yer verilmiş olan kapsamlı analizler ve değerlendirmeler ışığında;
19-25 Mayıs tarihlerinin Atatürk Mutfağı Haftası olarak kabul edilerek tüm dünyaya ilan edilmesine Dünya Türk Mutfağı Akademisi’nin ve Türk Mutfağı Hareketi’nin ilgili kurullarınca 16 Mayıs 2024 tarihinde oy birliği ile karar verilmiştir.

DECISION
Subject: Ataturk Cuisine Week
In the light of the comprehensive analyzes and evaluations included in the letter numbered M-239202451916-L;
It was unanimously decided on 16 May 2024 by the relevant boards of the World Turkish Cuisine Academy and the Turkish Cuisine Movement to accept 19-25 May as Ataturk Cuisine Week and announce it to the whole world.
ACCEPTANCE AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF ATATÜRK CUİSİNE WEEK, MAY 19-25
Following evaluations by the senate of the World Turkish Cuisine Academy and the board of directors of the Turkish Cuisine Movement, upon the proposal of our Founding President Mr. Tolgahan Gülyiyen, based on scientific historical knowledge, the designation of May 19-25 as Atatürk Cuisine Week was unanimously accepted and approved in a final joint session. After the unanimous decision, Mr. Tolgahan Gülyiyen sealed and signed decision no.40 regarding Atatürk Cuisine Week on May 16, 2024.
After the signing of the decision, Mr. Tolgahan Gülyiyen, in a letter addressing colleagues and the public, elaborated on the significance, reasons, meanings, and necessity of Atatürk Cuisine Week. He also expressed his desire for the letter to be shared with the public.
In the comprehensive letter addressed to colleagues and the public, Mr. Gülyiyen also made suggestions, touching upon the significance and importance of May 19th, Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, from the perspective of Turkish cuisine. Additionally, he shared details about the inaugural event of Atatürk Cuisine Week, which will be a first in the world. In this context, Mr. Tolgahan Gülyiyen will present a special menu named "Atatürk's Kitchen" in the capital of the United States, Washington D.C., and will personally prepare Atatürk's favorite dishes throughout the week.
The Founding President concluded his letter with the following words: "I hope that this event, which is of priceless importance and high value, will be embraced by all sectors and will serve as an example to all Turkish chefs worldwide. I sincerely wish for all Turkish chefs and representatives of Turkish cuisine, devoid of ego, personal ambitions, and self-interests, to adopt and implement this event everywhere, in every home, and in every establishment, with the vision of enriching Turkish cuisine worldwide over time."
